Welcome and Hello!

Nice to see you. If we haven't met before, my name is Margareta,  and I got Travels, Visual Art and Graphic Design on my mind.
I hope you will like what I am showing you.

What you will experience here in my home in space, is best explained by Vincent van Gogh, in these lines in a letter to his brother Theo:

"The Mediterranean has the color of mackerel, changeable I mean. You don’t always know if it is green or violet, you can’t even say it’s blue, because the next moment the changing reflection has taken on a tint of rose or gray "

(Vincent van Gogh (1853–90), Dutch painter. Letter, June 1888, to his brother Theo Van Gogh, published in The Letters of Vincent Van Gogh, ed. by M. Roskill, 1927)

Naturally Vincent Van Gogh couldn't have had any idea; that some day his work could become exposed in a media like the internet.  Or did he? In his pain or thru his tears, perhaps he visualized something in the "Starry Starry Night" from his hospital window? Yet to me, his work express to our minds what we are able to, not only see, but also a reality of pain behind those "stars". What is really out there or within our selves? The question is still blurring our minds when we start to think deeply about it. It is a bit beyond our imagination. Never the less, between the Universe and the ocean's floor, the two sentences to his brother expresses what we are able to see, and what our minds are capable to absorb without actual knowledge.  An artist and a genius of its own kind and perhaps for others, in his own time, hard to understand.

Also here in the internet's ocean, or space if you like, colors changes and the view might be some what distorted depending on your computer's or browser's capacity, so please don't change your installation. It is only the reflection of "mackerel". Which one easily can understand while looking at the gallery of digital work by Dan-Eric Holm, a beautiful kaleidoscope on the internet.

About me and Art-Mouse: This studio or gallery in Space, is in a way a "hobby-project" and a RV-vacation Journal. It includes mostly pictures about travels to places and brief reflections of the state or country visited. Perhaps we can call this a blog?
